For book clubs, chess clubs and game nights

The book club app for every hobby group

Listub Studio is a hobby group app and a club meeting scheduler in one. Plan your meetings, see who is coming, keep notes and lists, and tell everyone what changed.

What your club needs every month

The four things every club does between one meeting and the next, in one place.

A game night planner with places and a waitlist

Plan a weekly club night or a one-time evening with a place and a number of places. When it is full, people join the waitlist and move up by themselves, with a notification. Members answer Going, Maybe or Can't come.

  • Weekly or one-time
  • A waitlist that moves up
  • A reminder before you meet

Notes and lists for every meeting

Keep the next books in a list, write the questions for the evening in Notes, or keep a game analysis for the juniors. Everyone in the Studio sees them in their own app.

  • Reading lists
  • Discussion notes
  • Game analysis

Announcements to everyone or one team

Send a short message to all members or to one team, as a notification: a new place, a moved date, the next book. Teams have their own schedule, so the juniors and the first team each see their own.

  • To everyone or one team
  • Sent as a notification
  • Teams with their own schedule

A club dues tracker that shows who paid

Switch on Payments and give members a monthly price plan, or a one-off charge for the season or a tournament. They tap "I paid" and you confirm. No money moves through Listub: members pay you directly.

  • Monthly or one-off
  • "I paid" and you confirm
  • Overdue shows up

Questions

Books, games and hobbies

Is there an app to run a book club?

Yes. Listub Studio is for the person who runs the club: you plan the meetings, keep the reading list and notes, and send announcements. Your members use the free Listub app, and you invite them by email, a link or a QR code.

How do I plan team matches for a chess club?

Add the match to the schedule and set the line-up for that date: who plays and on which board. Players answer Going, Maybe or Can't come, and an away match can go in Plans and trips.

Can new people join our club on their own?

Your Studio is by invitation: you invite people by email, a link or a QR code, and they accept or decline. For an open evening, make it a public event with its own page on listub.com; people join or ask to join. Every public event is reviewed by Listub.

Can members pay their dues in the app?

No money moves through Listub. Members pay you directly, by bank, cash or your own payment link, then tap "I paid" and you confirm. You see who paid, what is open and what is overdue.

Do our members have to pay for Listub?

No. Your members join free with the Listub app and never pay for Listub. Only the person who runs the club pays for Listub Studio.
