Yes, that is one of the main reasons people open Doc Station. Add the document with its type and expiry date and get a reminder before it runs out. With Premium, attach a photo or PDF, so it is on your phone when a form, a border desk or a booking asks for it.
Is this document organizer app free?
Yes. Documents, categories, expiry dates and reminders are all free. Attaching files, such as a photo or a PDF, is a Premium file upload, and so is sharing your own rooms with other people.
Does it remind me before a passport or policy expires?
Yes. Add the expiry or renewal date and choose how early the reminder comes, weeks or months before, so you renew calmly instead of reacting late.
Can I keep warranties and receipts in it?
Yes. Save the purchase with its warranty end date and attach the receipt as a photo or PDF with Premium. The reminder comes before the warranty runs out.
Does it scan documents?
Not with text recognition. With Premium you take a photo of the document with your phone’s camera, or upload a PDF, and attach it; the name, type and expiry date you enter yourself.
Can I share one document with one person?
Yes. Open the document and share its attached file through your phone’s share sheet, by e-mail or messenger, without giving anyone the rest of the room. Attaching files needs Premium.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Documents you have opened recently stay available without a connection, and new entries or edits sync as soon as you are back online.
